Today I'm so excited to be chatting with Kathryn Duckett of Creme Brands! Kathryn is the owner, creative director and brand designer at Creme Brands, a brand design and strategy company for creatives and wedding professionals! Kathryn has worked with so many amazing creative entrepreneurs including some New York Times bestsellers, and I can't wait for you to hear her story! In the interview we chat all about how she got her start, some of her best tips for effectively branding yourself to reach your ideal client, and how clearly defining your processes and setting client expectations can ensure a better client relationship.
Kathryn and I talk all about how branding should not only show off who you are as a company, but ideally it should speak straight to your ideal client. Since they're who you're targeting, it's important to keep them top of mind when going through a re-brand, or branding yourself for the first time. Kathryn utilizes fun exercises like client playlists to pull out their personalities and ensure that she gets to know her clients on a deeper level.
Kathryn had so many insightful tips in the interview including "the only failure is if you don't try," "put out what you want to get back" and those looking to start their own businesses can "begin anywhere - you don't need to wait for the perfect time."
